The sketches on this site are made with sketchup. Google SketchUp is powerful yet easy-to-learn 3D software. If you don’t have sketchup installed on your computer you can get a free viewer here. All drawings are also exported to 3D PDF format. To view these, you’ll need acrobat reader version 7 or higher.

 

 

Mirrors

Aluminium sheet

In older CSP applications, the mirrors were often constructed from glass. The disadvantage from this type of design is the weight of the construction. Nowadays there is very reflective aluminum sheet on the market with a reflective ness of 95% in the right light spectrum. It is also very durable against corrosion and UV light. The standard sheets have a thickness of 0.5 mm. There should be enough support from the frame to keep the mirror in the right place and to protect it from deforming. With an easy to use “click system” on the frame, the mirrors can be installed and removed again.
